**In Wednesday's box: Fill in the following blanks of the Rock Cycle #1-9 and A, B, and C **Get your INB from the front table (Quest--Bell Ringer)
**In Tuesday's box: 1. If I have a metamorphic rock how does it go back to an igneous rock? 2. There are 2 types of Igneous rocks--Intrusive and Extrusive--which one is formed from cooled lava and which is from cooled magma? 3. What kind of rock is a scientist most likely digging in if he is nowhere near the ocean but finds many fossils of clam-like shells and other small fish? Open your INB to your Rock Notes. Pull up a picture of the Rock Cycle on your iPad and Draw this on the Left Side opposite your notes. Once your done with that you need to finish your pic collage and your rock cycle rap. 1. Open pic collage
2. You are going to make 4 pic collages. The first 3 pic collages will cover the 3 rock types, Igneous, Metamorphic and sedimentary. 3. You need to include a definition which is how they are formed, where they are found and 2 pictures. 4. Your fourth pic collage needs to be about the rock cycle. 5. Give 2 accurate photos depicting the rock cycle, define the rock cycle, and tell me how the 3 rocks types relate to each other within the rock cycle. 6. **Put STAAR Testing in Tuesday & Wednesday's box **In Thursday's box: Use your brain, notes, and/or iPad to answer which rock was made by: 1) Heat & Pressure 2) Melting down to magma and cooling into rock 3) Weathering & Erosion breaks it down to sediment which is then Compacted and Cemented into this rock. Once you're finished with the warm up, continue working on your Rock Cycle Rap. Make sure you have lyrics written when you record and your lyrics should explain the Rock Cycle & how each rock is formed. 1. Do research over the 3 rock types (igneous, sedimentary, metamorphic) and the rock cycle itself.
2. Collect research in you INB 3. You are going to write and film yourself making a rock cycle rap video. This video must be at least 1 Minute and 30 second long. 4. You must include definitions and at least 2 facts for each rock type. 5. You must describe the rock cycle completely. 6. You can pick any app of your choosing to work on this in. 7. Today is pretty much just a research and writing your lyrics day! ***No Talking--They are TESTING next door***
